Since 1995, Ringside Collectibles has been the industry leading online retailer for wrestling action figures.
Given the responsibility of bringing their vision to life, we were tasked with creating packaging for a new toy line. The new figures were modeled after the popular REMCO action figures that became wildly popular in the 1980’s. Taking a note from this retro-leaning toy, we developed a design system that featured edge to edge, hand painted illustrations of the wrestlers on the front of the card and a vignette illustration with story copy on the back that not only complemented the current toy line, but also paved a clear path for seamless integration of future additions to the lineup.
